Recipe: Vegan Yogurt

A creamy (and way better!) alternative to yogurt


If you have a very powerful blender like the vitamix blender then you can do it all together- otherwise do it like this:

In a blender:
1 1/2 c 'raw', unsalted cashews
1 c water
1 t vanilla extract or a small bit of scraped vanilla bean
1/4 c agave nectar
1/2 t sea salt

In a food processor:
4 c frozen (or fresh) berries of any kind
3 T fresh lime juice
then add what was in your blender to the food processor until it becomes smooth.
