by Heather Havey The River Fund, led by guru Ma Jaya Sati Bhagavati, operates an orphanage in Uganda that houses more than 1000 children and also cares for many adults. They offer food, medical, educational workshops, and much more to so many people. Father Centurio runs this orphanage. He is a man of such dedication to Christ and to the people as God's Children. It touches your heart so deeply to behold. He is a very kind, caring, and humble gentleman who has witnessed unspeakable, unbelievable atrocities throughout his life, including to his own family members. Africa is known as the Continent of Children, because so many millions of people have died from AIDS, leaving many many children without parents or homes or food/care. The problem is vast - truly, beyond description. This orphanage is such a beautiful example of how Ma and all her chelas (students and devotees) devote their lives to LOVE and SERVICE. As Ma's guru, Neem Karoli Baba, taught us all, "Feed everyone." Thank you to Ma and to all who help The River Fund to keep the orphanages in Uganda (and India) as well as all their other projects operating successfully.
