Alkaline foods are important for your health. Ideally you'll include many in your diet. So, what are these alkaline foods? And you look for analkaline food list. But what do you find? All lists are different ! It seems very complicated, but actually, it's very simple:

Simply put, alkaline foods are:

  • Green leafy vegetables (i.e kale, spinach;
  • Herbs (i.e. parsley, garlic);
  • Sea vegetables (seaweed, blue green algae);
  • Certain superfoods & supplements (green powders, calcium, magnesium);
  • Some fruits (coconut, lemon).

All other foods are acid forming or neutral. Thus meat, fish, grains (rice, wheat), nuts, seeds and most fruits.
